Our Training Programs
At MAXIMUS Performance, we utilize expert coaching with exercise science principles specific to youth and their progressing stages of development, to optimize performance in their specific sport, while also reducing the chance of injuries. Our focus is on teaching the proper mechanics of running while improving speed, agility, power, strength, mindset and more. We pride ourselves on prioritizing safety and effectiveness while creating a fun and motivational environment. Whether you are trying to make the team, get more playing time, or reach an elite level, you deserve the best chance to reach your maximum potential!
Group Training
Please note: all Maximus participants will need an Athletics Ontario Memebership (competitive or training only).
Elite Track and Field (3 days/wk)Â
We offer an elite track & field program that provides specialized, high-performance coaching. It’s designed for advanced track and field athletes aiming to refine technique and excel in top-tier competition. This program is invite only and requires an 11 month commitment from mid to late September – mid August.

Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate (2-3 days/wk)
We offer an intermediate track & field program that builds strong foundations. Athletes develop technique, confidence, and readiness for competition with a supportive progression. This program runs an indoor session from October-March and an outdoor session from April-July. This program is perfect for those new to track and field or those that want to participate in outdoor season only. Athletes are grade 5-12 and are grouped by age and abilities. Builds strong foundations and provides an introduction to competitive track and field.

Drop in speed training
Throughout the year we offer drop in sessions for those wanting to learn more about our program or entering track and field mid-season.

Multisport (1 day/wk)
We offer a multisport speed & agility program, helping athletes of all sports improve speed, coordination, and agility, with small group attention. Athletes will learn how to run fast, change direction, decelerate, practical speed application for their sport and more. We typically run 5-6 programs throughout each year. This program is for athletes in grades 5-12 and runs one day per week.
Run for Fun (1 day/wk)
We offer a 6 week Run for Fun program for younger children ages 5-8 years old. This program introduces athletes to running through games and activities, fostering a love for movement in a fun, beginner-friendly setting. We typically run this program 4-5 times throughout the year.

Sport Specific Development (6-8 weeks)
Our sport specific development programs are designed to elevate athletes to excel in their desired sport. We focus on the foundations of speed, agility, vertical jump, and movement mechanics specific to the sport. Each program integrates position specific skills with explosive power, coordination drills and game-like scenarios ensuring that athletes master both fundamental athleticism and sport specific excellence.Â

Summer Camp (5 days)
We offer a week long summer camp for 7-14 year olds that starts and ends with speed and agility. Athletes will learn how to run fast, change direction, decelerate, practical speed application for sports and much more. This camp is designed to cater to athletes of all abilitiy levels and athletes will be grouped by age and ability level.
Team Training
Looking to take your team to the next level? Whether you play baseball, soccer, football, hockey or another sport, see how proper movement mechanics and strength training can help your team dominate in games. We offer in season and out season training sessions that run for one hour.Â
Online Speed & Agility Training Program Coming Soon!
Can’t train in person due to COVID-19, time constraints with your main sport commitments or because you live further away? No worries, we got you covered with our online speed and agility training program that is coming soon! Our program is split into 6 modules that focus on teaching the basics of sprinting to multi-sport athletes between the ages 12 and 16, all from the comfort of their home.
